Job Summary:
The Marks JCH Women's Center, seeks a passionate and dedicated social worker specializing in case management and advocacy around gender-based violence, intimate partner violence, and domestic violence. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing comprehensive support and care for people in need, playing a crucial role in enhancing the wellbeing of our community.
This role involves providing intake, screening, monitoring, case management, referrals, programming support, and supportive counseling for our clients, in addition to stewarding individual relationships with clients and families.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Providing trauma informed-care, comprehensive case support tailored to the unique needs of vulnerable refugee clients and immigrant survivors, primarily arriving from the former Soviet Union. Through a range of specialized services and grassroots community partnerships, we help clients transition from surviving to thriving.
This is a full-time non-exempt position located in Brooklyn, NY. Candidates can expect an annual salary between $55,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with skills and experience) and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision insurance, generous time off, and a pension plan.
