Principal Responsibilities:
The Children & Family Programs Manager plays an integral role in welcoming families to our JCC and its program offerings. This position is both forward-facing to greet and interact directly with community members and administrative, including all tasks related to organizing and administering programs. As part of the small team, there will be plenty of opportunities to use your creativity to improve upon current programs and develop new programs, assuming they align with the JCC's mission and vision. We are looking for someone energetic and motivated, with a positive, can-do attitude. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who can work both independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent relationship builder, communicator, strong on follow-through, detail-oriented, quick learner, a team player and can take initiative in identifying problems and devising solutions, and must have strong interpersonal skills to help implement those solutions with good judgment and discretion
- The ideal candidate for this position will express commitment to the JCC's mission, with two-five years of communal programming experience.
- Must be effective at organizing program-related timelines, budget and materials
- Must be flexible to work on select weekday evenings and Sundays (no more than 40 hours per week).
Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead programs that emphasize the JCC's culture with spirit, positive energy, and a commitment to the organization's values. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families
- Act as the primary liaison with parents. Increase family engagement. to encourage repeat and cross-department business. Provide personal outreach to JCC members and participants, building relationships.
- Manage programming budget and provide input on enhanced marketing, outreach, relationship-building, programming, recruitment, and sales. Process and report on program attendance and enrollment data.
- Plan all programs within budget and timeframe. May include field trips, special days and activity areas. Recruit and hire seasonal staff. Plan and execute staff orientation and ongoing training. Assist the Camp/Program Director to supervise staff year-round
- Participate as a member of the JCC's program team, providing support to co-workers
Salary:
$55,000 - $65,000
