Principal Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Diller Teen Fellows Coordinator serves as an educational leader executing and implementing key program experiences of teen engagement and teen leadership (i.e. Diller Teen Fellows, Goldston Teen Philanthropy, etc.) that enhance the Agency's mission and core values. This position works as a part of the Teen Engagement Team within the Department of Jewish Life at the JCC. This position is responsible for overseeing and implementing programming during the academic year, as assigned. More information about Diller can be found here https://dillerteenfellows.org/.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

While performing the above duties, this position routinely requires handling persons and/or objects and moving safely throughout the building. This position may include walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. This position requires communicating, either verbally or in writing. This position frequently requires moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. This position occasionally requires moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Minimum Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Jewish Education, or related field, with Master's Degree preferred, with at least three (3) years' experience working in Jewish educational settings with an emphasis on teen engagement or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of and appreciation for Israeli culture, preferably including having spent time in Israel and at least a beginning understanding of Israeli history, politics and geography.Experience in developing and leading programming addressing Jewish identity development, youth leadership development, community service and Israel education.

Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000
