In order for JCC Association to support Jewish Community Centers and Jewish Community camps across North American and their respective staff members, the Association maintains a robust and complex relational database with details about each center, camp and staff person and numerous related applications used to view and analyze the data. The data is used in myriad ways from basic functions such as communicating with JCC staff members to analyzing the nature of the workforce of tens of thousands of JCC employees.
JCC Association is seeking a seasoned data and database professional to develop strategy for database development, to enhance the effectiveness of data use as well as oversee the day-to-day operations association with data including collection, input, reporting and analysis. A member of the Experience Team, the Director of Data Management will work closely with colleagues on the Experience team and the Association IT team.
Successful candidates are creative and critical thinkers and skilled project managers; possess strong verbal and written communication skills and experience with strategic planning; are highly organized, detail-oriented, hard-working and capable of tackling multiple projects at a time; and enjoy a challenge. Candidates should work well independently, but also thrive as a member of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
