Principal Responsibilities:

Are you energetic and creative? Do you enjoy working with children and creating thoughtful and fun programming for them and their families? If so, JCC Greater Boston is seeking someone with your qualities to be a Program Coordinator to create joyful, supportive and memorable experiences as part of the dynamic Family Programming Team - which oversees Discovery Club After School, Enrichment Classes, major events, holiday programs, birthday parties, playgroups and much more. This position is ideal for someone seeking engaging work where they can make a difference in children's lives while enjoying being part of a collaborative, upbeat and friendly community.

The position requires a self-motivated person who will be responsible for coordinating both operational and programmatic elements within both Discovery Club After School and the broader Family Engagement & Jewish Life Department. Discovery Club is an active and engaging after-school program for children in grades K-5, located at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton, filled with enrichment programming, Jewish celebrations and values, learning and fun! Family Programming is a growing and vibrant team and this role offers many opportunities to have a significant impact across the JCC community. This is a full time position and requires a combination of weekday, and occasional evening and weekend work.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Program Coordinator must be an enthusiastic team player ready to jump in to a vibrant and busy team. They must also have experience working with children and be warm, cheerful, patient and nurturing. In addition to these qualities, the successful candidate will also meet the following qualifications:

Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000
