Principal Responsibilities:

The YM and YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood is seeking a nurturing and creative Assistant Teacher to work within a teaching team to implement a successful, supportive, play-based program within our ongoing and thriving nursery school.

The assistant teacher will help to support our program while working with three and/or four year old children through the implementation of an enriching classroom environment within our state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience teaching within an early childhood classroom.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with colleagues and families

College degree preferred.

Salary:

$30,000
