Principal Responsibilities:

In this role, you will use your marketing industry expertise and technical knowledge to support Marketing Department objectives. You will create, deliver, and manage brand editorial content, while supporting strategic initiatives.

This role will include collaborating closely with managers across the organization. Needed are strong strategic, critical thinking, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. The starting salary for this position is $47,000 - $52,000 a year. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the scope of the position, the candidates relevant experience, and internal equity. This position is a Hybrid opportunity. In office 2 - 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In partnership with the Account Director and VP of Marketing, Membership & Experience, work on the overarching brand communication strategy to grow and strengthen JCC Greater Boston's brand and membership engagement across email, social and digital platforms
• Work collaboratively across the marketing team with program partners to write, edit, and proofread multichannel communications including email, social/website, and print collateral
• Distill and generate direction from creative briefs and client/internal meetings, in order to generate excellent copy and creative assets that balance creative goals with brand voice and messaging
• Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels on email and compare using A/B testing
• Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members
• Collaborate with client-facing marketing staff on identifying key messaging and strategies to support digital marketing strategies as well as brainstorm new ideas
• Define and optimize digital ad targeting and tracking strategies across platforms (email and social)
• Manage projects and relationships regarding email and communication platforms
• Assist marketing team with project management on as-needed basis
• This position will not have any direct reports

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2- 5 years experience with writing copy for multi-channel use, email marketing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics
• Results driven and comfortable using new tech platforms
• Team player and exceptional time management skills
• 2-5 years experience working in marketing (agency or in-house)

Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000
