Are you warm, cheerful, nurturing, energetic and enthusiastic? Are you someone who can create a childcare space which is safe, fun and well run? If so, JCC Greater Boston is seeking someone with your qualities to be a Lead Teacher and create happy, supportive and memorable experiences for children in grades K-5 who are attending the JCC Greater Boston Discovery Club After School. Discovery Club is an active and engaging after-school program located at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton. Position will run from September 9, 2021 - June 17, 2022 with some hours of orientation and training the week of August 30. The Lead Teacher will manage or assist in a classroom and will be supported by the Family Programming Team. This position is ideal for someone seeking engaging part-time work where they can make a difference in children's lives while enjoying being part of a collaborative, upbeat and friendly community.

On an ongoing basis, we align our operating procedures with guidance from the CDC and the state. In response to current local public health situations, our practices have previously included, and in the future may include, ensuring proper physical distancing, sanitation, hygiene, vaccination requirements and use of face coverings to promote the health of our staff and program participants.
