He/she/they are highly effective jugglers who see the big picture and ensure the details are handled with professionalism and timeliness. The position calls for someone who reflects the camp character of upbeat, results oriented, fun and collaborative. The Camp Grossman Camp Office Staff works closely with camp families, colleagues and vendors to orchestrate and execute thousands of details which collectively create a seamless, well run camp. JCC Greater Boston offers free camp bus service from many towns in the Greater Boston area, making it possible for many counselors/staff to receive transportation from their home communities.

Camp Grossman is welcoming 700+ campers and over 250 staff this summer. This position is an 8-week commitment and includes attendance at orientation prior to the season. Camp day is 8:40 AM -4:10 PM, Monday through Friday, with orientation the week of June 21 and staff meetings on 3 Monday evenings throughout the summer. Beginning next year, there will be limited responsibilities (such an Open House or two) in the fall as well. The summer requires an 8-week commitment and includes attendance at orientation prior to the season. Staff must be available for the entire camp season. Most counselors and staff also work 1 or 2 additional family nights or overnights, depending on their position and unit at camp.
