Under the supervision of Executive Management, the Membership Supervisor shall oversee the planning, development, and implementation of the membership strategies that best meet the mission and needs of the agency. Membership and Fitness Welcome Desk staff are supervised by the Membership Supervisor. The strategy of the Membership Department, with the help of the Membership and Fitness Welcome Desk team members includes serving our membership base, increasing membership units, spearheading membership appreciation events, streamlining the process in handling the operations of the department, improve tracking, and reporting, handle all follow-throughs on a timely basis.
It's important to have excellent people skills, exemplary oral and written communication skills, and be well organized.Attention to detail, strong computer abilities, and demonstration of proven sales experience are necessary.The Membership Supervisor is also responsible for going out into the community to local businesses and networking meetings to increase memberships and develop corporate membership programs.
The Membership Supervisor is a team player well versed in customer service and great listening skills with members as well as staff.
