Principal Responsibilities:

The Development Director provides leadership and management over the JCC's fundraising, stewardship and engagement efforts. Supervised by the Executive Director, the Development Director works with executive staff, program staff and board members to create strategies to attract new donors, engage existing ones, provide stewardship for gifts of all sizes, and advance the organization's financial goals.

The Development Director will also lead the effort to measure the impact of the agency and its programs. This includes developing data collection systems, training staff on best practices, analyzing and reporting on data, and translating results into marketing materials to further development efforts. This position requires in-person work on a daily basis. Our full-time employees receive 100% free child care through our top-notch programs (early childhood, after-school, school vacation days and summer camp), as well as generous PTO and paid holidays. Relocation assistance is available.

Cultural amenities include minor league baseball and hockey, a symphony and art museum, a zoo, multiple ski resorts, amusement parks, MusikFest (the country's largest free music festival), historical sites, and easy access to Philadelphia (1 hour) and New York City (less than 2 hours).
