Principal Responsibilities:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and creative leader to direct the Ames Amzalak Rochester Jewish Film Festival (RJFF). In this contract position, the role of the Director is coordinating all aspects of the festival: film curating and programming, financial management, fundraising, marketing, event planning, and volunteer management. In alignment with the mission of the Rochester Jewish Film Festival and the JCC, the film festival is an annual weeklong event each summer and is the largest Jewish cultural event in New York state outside of NYC.

The Director position is part time during the fall and winter seasons working 8 - 12 hours per week and expanding to 40 hours in the spring and summer, ramping-up to the launch and management of the Festival.
