Primary Purpose of Job

The Omaha Jewish Community Center is looking for a Managing Director for our newly remodeled, state of the art theater. The $3.5M renovation of the Alan Levine Performing Arts Theater at the JCC will include 326 seats; all new sound, acoustics, lighting, rigging, and stage infrastructure; and updated support spaces as well. This is a rare opportunity for a take-charge, enthusiastic and resourceful individual who likes working with people. The Alan Levine Performing Arts Theater is the only proscenium arch theater in West Omaha and is located on the newly remodeled JCC campus that features two new water parks, modern workout facilities, a beautiful art gallery, and four new dance studios.

The Managing Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the theater including programs, finances, community support and growth.

Full-time, evenings and weekends necessary as programs dictate.

The Cultural Arts Department of the Jewish Community Center strives to impart the joy and discipline of performing arts through a well-rounded program of high caliber instruction. Classes in piano, dance, theater, along with our art gallery and lecture and event series offer a wide range of activities and instruction for our community members.
