We have an opportunity for a Program Area Leader in Aquatics to develop curriculum, teach and supervise this camp program.
We are looking for a positive role model who enjoys watersports and delivering daily programming for children ages 8-16 in such areas as waterskiing, paddle boarding, sailing, canoeing, and wakeboarding. This leader will also be responsible for supervising the swim instructor as part of their responsibilities.
Responsibilities also include: Maintaining general health and safety of all the campers, ensure campers adhere to camp rules. Follow through on approved curriculum plans, provide developmental feedback to assigned staff, and participate with the group in all camp activities.
Program Area Leaders (PALs) are responsible for developing curriculum, teaching and supervising a specific program area at Camp. PALs must be a positive role model, camper focused, and able to set and follow through with camper expectations and the program curriculum. A PAL must demonstrate sound judgment and establish a nurturing and safe environment for all campers, and staff. PALs will work in partnership with Specialists and Activity Counselors assigned to their areas and report directly to the Assistant Director.
Camp operates from Sunday, June 28 - Sunday, August 16, 2020.
Approximately (7) paid days off during the Camp season.
Full time hours including days, nights and weekends.
Competitive pay plus Room and Board.

Senior Staff Orientation: Wednesday, June 17 - Friday, June 19, 2020
General Staff Orientation: Monday, June 22 - Saturday, June 27, 2020
