Human Resources Payroll and Benefits Specialist ( Part Time)

Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
- Responsible for managing employee timesheets.
- On-boarding new employees into I-solved payroll system.
- Responsible for accurate salary interface with general ledger.
- Responsible for accurate benefits expense reconciliations.
- Criminal background checks and drug screening process.
- Maintain employee records.
- Ensure collection and completion of new hire documentation per regulatory guidelines.
- Train and assist new hires on time keeping procedures.
- Manage and process all accidents, workers comp claims, coordinate with broker regarding requests and claims.
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate summer new hire process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Associates degree or comparable experience
- 3 - 5 years in a similar position and level of responsibility
- Experience in the non-profit sector preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior hands - on payroll experience.
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Advanced use of Excel and Word.
- Commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance breach of confidentiality requirement.
Salary:
$25,000 - $35,000
