KinderPlace Early Learning Center at the Stamford JCC is currently accepting applications for the expanding Preschool and Toddler program. We are seeking Early Childhood Teachers to join a dynamic team of educators who have a love and passion for children. We are a developmentally based, high quality program which provides a rich early learning experience based on values and traditions.
Every classroom utilizes a play-based and project learning approach in creating and implementing activities that promote constructive learning.
Our Early Childhood Educators value each child and family as individuals. They have the educational qualifications, dispositions, knowledge, dedication to learning, and professional commitment necessary to promote children and their families as they learn and develop. Educators work together with their team to develop, implement, and evaluate the classroom pedagogy, to provide a quality educational program reflecting the goals and values of the school. Educators monitor the development and learning of the children and partner with families in sharing this information.
Full-Time Work schedule is generally, 40 hours a week, 5 days a week Monday Friday with occasional evening or weekend events.
Part-Time Work schedule is generally 20-30 hours a week Monday-Friday with occasional evening or weekend events.
Child Developmental Associate Credential (CDA).
Or a minimum of 3 years of classroom experience.
Employees who do not hold these credentials may be asked to pursue education in the field of education or a related field.
