Principal Responsibilities:

SUMMARY

This position work in both the Caf? (retail) and Kitchen (institutional) operations assisting with the preparation, serving, and clean-up of meals and snacks served to JCC constituent groups according to documented procedures. In addition, this position assists with inventory quality control in food services.

Work EnvironmentThe environment is typical of an institutional/retail kitchen setting which is frequently fast paced. The employee may be exposed to cooking fumes, and/or may handle toxic or caustic chemicals. The environment may have fluctuations in temperature (hot, cold, humid, etc.) and may be noisy. Work requires employee to be standing for long periods of time without a break; other physical activities include walking, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 75 pounds.
