This position is an integral part of a small, efficient, and effective team. Film Festival Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the Festival manager with ticket and festival pass sales, coordinating recognition of donors and sponsors, liaising with Marketing department to coordinate digital and print promotional materials, assisting patrons with ticketing, passes, and troubleshooting access to virtual festival programming. Must be available to work in person during the Festival weeks. The Sandler Center offers a wide variety of programs, classes, and events throughout the year. The Sandler Center Assistant is key in ensuring smooth ticket sales transactions, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) managing the front desk, handling numerous email and phone inquiries about programming, processing telephone and online ticket sales, training volunteers to do the same, and liaising with Marketing department to coordinate digital and print promotional materials for Sandler Center programs.
Excellent computer, written and verbal skills are essential; must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and be able to learn back end of in-house ticketing software systems. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to details, and the ability to offer excellent customer service. Some evenings/weekends will be required.
