Principal Responsibilities:

The Human Resource Manager will be fully in charge of managing onboarding, recruitment,
compliances, grievances, performance reviews, and more in the agency. All matters relating
to agencys employees and policies, including hiring and onboarding, clearances and
compliance required by various state and city agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Recruit, interview, and assist in the selection of employees to fill vacant positions.
Plan and implement all new employee orientation with the intention to foster a
positive work attitude that aligns with organizational goals.
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure
employees understand their job responsibilities.
Conduct all necessary fingerprinting and background checks.
Ensure all personnel files are complete and up to standards with all laws and
Work closely with the Comptroller to ensure proper input of personnel files.
Develop and maintain a Human Resources system that meets top management
information needs.
Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by
law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
Write and deliver presentations to corporate officers regarding human
resources policies and practices.
Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plans,
personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews,
and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
Write directives advising department managers of Company policy
including, but not limited to equal employment opportunities,
compensation, and employee benefits.
Coordinate management training and development in, but not limited to
interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety,
and sexual harassment.
Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee
relations issues.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and

Bachelors degree
2-3 years in Human Resources

Non-profit experience preferred
JCC experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Extremely organized - Able to multitask
