The Early Learning Center at the Springfield JCC is looking for on-call substitute teachers. This position would be great for a local student in the education field, as we can work around a college schedule. The qualified candidate will assist the lead teachers in their daily routine of early education and care including; supervision of young children during indoor and outdoor activities, cleaning up after said activities (including sanitizing and disinfecting), and helping young children practice social distancing, mask wearing and hand hygiene, as necessary.
Interest in the education and care of children 6 weeks - 5 years old.
Able to successfully pass SORI and CORI background check
First Aid / CPR certification a plus
Currently working on or Interest in persuing a degree in early education or a related field a plus
