Principal Responsibilities:

Would you love to spend the summer outdoors in the sun? Come work poolside at the Jewish Community Center as a Snack Bar Attendant! Gain experience in reliability, responsibility and customer service. Days needed are Sunday through Friday - no Saturdays!

Hours needed are:

• Sunday: 11:00am to 5:00pm
• Monday - Thursday: 11:00am to 8:00pm
• Friday: 11:00am to 5:00pm

Pay rate: $9.00/hr

Position Summary: The JCC Snack Bar Server will staff the Snack Bar and provide outstanding customer service to members and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Responsible for food preparation and inventory control in the snack bar area

 Clean and maintain cleanliness in the snack bar area at a level required for health department and safety standards

 Maintain and carry out Jewish kashruth standards and guide any others working in the snack bar so that all food is prepared under strictly kosher regulations

 Responsible for all cash received in the snack bar area

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge and Education - Minimum Required or Preferred:High school diploma or GED; or in the process of achieving these educational degrees.

2. Experience - Minimum Required or Preferred: Must have food preparation and hospitality experience; sales experience preferred.

3. Special Skills: Must be able to operate a computerized sales system.Must be able to perform basic math skills. Must understand and abide by the Kosher guidelines.Must be able to confidently interact with diverse population.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
