Job Summary

The Speech/Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow, as a member of the educational team, supports the education of students suspected and/or diagnosed with a disability in their least restrictive environment. In this role, your top priority will be to promote the achievement of each child's individual therapeutic goals and objectives within the guidelines set forth by the CPSE program and student's IEP.


Essential Functions:

Ensure safety of students.

Provide speech/language services for preschool children as specified on their IEP in a center based preschool setting.

Maintain accurate attendance records and daily session notes consisting of qualitative and quantitative data relative to IEP goals/objectives.

Communicate with teachers, therapists and parents to discuss student's progress and instructional strategies.

Maintain written reports including change in service requests, quarterly progress notes and annual review reports.

Maintain ethics, exhibit professional behavior, emotional stability and sound judgment.

Maintain respect for confidential information.

Attend all staff meetings and in-services as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications:
NYS State licensed SLP
ASHA certification
TSSLD
Clinical Fellow considered
Pediatric Experience preferred

Salary:

$65,000 - $75,000
