An innovative and highly accomplished leader to join the Weinstein JCC staff team to ensure a strong and vibrant Jewish life and community for generations to come. The COO will play a key role in the success of transforming the Weinstein JCC programs, services and operational functions. This individual will be a member of the senior leadership team and engage regularly with the Board of Directors, community professionals, lay leaders, the Weinstein JCC team and national organizations. The COO will have responsibility for ensuring the Weinstein JCC is maximizing its approaches to earned revenue, business development, facility stewardship, and service delivery in a manner that will enhance our brand, help with financial viability and sustainability and mission fulfillment for the Weinstein JCC as a whole and in partnership with other senior team members for the Center. This position is an exempt, full time, salaried position.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Keeping with the WJCC mission, goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Community Center we are seeking a highly accomplished individual to join the Weinstein JCC staff team to oversee and direct our agency operational functions, facility, and programs.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned professional with a bachelor's degree and experience in upper level management/leadership. Candidate should demonstrate achievements in program development and oversight, management of complex business environments, facility management, board and community relations and budgeting. Creativity and flexibility with excellent interpersonal, communication, political and leadership skills are a must.
Most importantly, this candidate should be able to foster the creation of a sustainable financial and operational model that aligns with our agency mission and vision.
Experience in facility management, fitness, recreation and programing is required. An incumbent new to this position will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in senior management in an organization of $6 million budget, staff and program size and complexity. Past experience within a multi service business/organization with a community focus is desirable. Preferred candidate will have extensive knowledge in or have the demonstrated ability to build close relationships and ensure a strong and vibrant Jewish community.
