The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC is committed to sustaining and enriching the quality of life for all members of the greater Five Towns community through social, recreational and educational programs and services guided by universally shared Jewish values.
Founded in 1981, The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC (Jewish Community Center) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has been serving Southwest Nassau County for over forty years. The JCC is a dynamic and vital community resource providing educational, enrichment, recreational and social services to individuals and families in the Five Towns, Far Rockaway and throughout the south west region of Long Island.
As a social service/community center organization, our programs and services focus on the community's most vulnerable members: Holocaust survivors, single-parent families, frail older adults, children and adults with special needs and those facing food insecurity. We provide counseling, case management and entitlement assistance to those in need. Through collaborative relationships we offer domestic violence counseling and substance abuse awareness and case management. We operate an innovative Kosher food pantry from our social services hub where food, clothing, and social work support services are available.
The JCC's Early Childhood Center located on our Harrison Kerr Family Campus is considered among the top Jewish early childhood programs on Long Island for Nursery, Childcare and summer camp. The JCC serves people of all ages and abilities and is non-sectarian. The JCC is a beneficiary agency of the UJA-Federation of New York.
