Principal Responsibilities:

Certified and experienced Senior Fitness Instructor needed to conduct older adult classes during the mid-morning hours. Successful instructor must be able to:

• Present class in a professional manner
• Design and teach creative class routines
• Show movement modifications
• Motivate class participants
• Conduct a safe and effective class
• Possess an out-going, and engaging personality

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of one-year teaching experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Current Group Fitness Certification
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Strong customer service skills.
• Participates in mandatory staff meetings and training.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically fit to the level of demonstrating the movements and assisting class participants.
• Required to frequently stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time.
• Regularly required to communicate.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs (fitness equipment) as required

Salary Range: $27 - $30/hr
