Under the direction and guidance of the Health and Wellness Director and consistent with the mission of the JEA, the Youth Sports Assistant is responsible for assisting in the delivery, development, and implementation of all youth sports programs. Youth Sports Assistant is accountable for delivering exceptional and outstanding programs and service to JEA members, volunteers, and program participants. The Youth Sports Assistant is a highly visible representative of the JEA mission, theme, and character development values. He/she is responsible for knowing and properly executing all JEA policies and procedures as well as marketing, organizing, and managing youth sports programs at JEA. This person is responsible for the development and cultivation of relationships with members and volunteers, as well as in the community to increase awareness of programs. The person in the position is responsible for mentoring and supporting staff and volunteers in all aspects of youth sports.
Physical and/or Mental Requirements
This individual needs to be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds. This individual may be required to stand for extended periods of time while demonstrating physical stamina and agility.
