Principal Responsibilities:

The Dave & Mary Alper JCC, South Miami-Dade's inclusive Jewish community building, education and wellness organization, is seeking a dynamic leader to take the reins of our youth offerings, as its next Youth/Camp Director.

The Youth/Camp Director of the Alper JCC is a talented, organized and creative leader that directs, manages and oversees all aspects of the agency's diverse and inclusive Camp, After-school and Youth programs, ensuring a safe, nurturing and enriching experience for all participants. The Youth/Camp Director leads, manages and supervises a team of full and part-time professionals and also oversees seasonal staff. The Youth/Camp Director manages the daily operations of the Alper JCC's Camp, After-school and Youth programs, the overall department budget, assists with the department's grant writing process and oversees grant compliance, and works closely with marketing to promote youth programs and the center as a whole. The Youth/Camp Director is a visionary, with programmatic imagination, excited about creating an environment for community members with a wide range of abilities to thrive. Salary Range

$55,000-$70,000 depending on experience

Our superb Quality Counts 5-Star Glen Greenstein Early Childhood Development Center offers families the perfect setting for their children, infants through preschoolers, to grow, learn, and appreciate Jewish heritage. For children, the Kids? Connection After School Program provides a structured yet fun environment; and our summer camp gives campers the opportunity to grow and expand their horizons. The Special Needs Program offers a fun, stimulating, and dynamic program for children, teens and adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities and has been widely recognized for its services as well.
