Principal Responsibilities:

Summary: The Personal Trainer is responsible for managing the fitness floor, being responsive to members and guests by offering assistance, and educating PJCC members on the safe and correct use of cardio and weight training equipment. This person also performs assessments, provides package prescriptions, answers fitness and wellness related questions, and sells personal training packages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Safety/Cleaning Protocols:

Maintaining cleaning protocols to exceed requirements provides a safe and caring environment for staff, children and families.


Nights and Weekends, required.

2 hours - up to 19 per week, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Competencies


4 year college degree in fitness related field or certificate from a 2-year program at a accredited university

Certifications: Minimum one (1) nationally recognized accredited certification.

Specific Skills:

Communication skills, customer service oriented.

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
