B'nai B'rith Camp seeks a dedicated Development Director to broaden our donor base and lead the BB Camp Annual Fundraising efforts, including all programmatic grants. The Development Director will work closely and collaboratively with the organization's staff members, community partners, and donors.
The Development Director will be responsible for taking a leadership role in executing fundraising strategies and activities, resulting in the increased financial stability of the agency. Fundraising strategies will include managing all non-capital campaign fundraising; identifying and soliciting potential new annual major gifts; grant writing, submission, and reporting; managing the Philanthropy Committee; partnering on event implementation and committee management, and implementing new initiatives.
The right candidate for this position will have the ability to work cooperatively as a team member and maintain positive working relationships. This candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and take the initiative on all duties related to this position. The candidate will have at least five years of experience working in non-profit fundraising or similar non-profit work, familiar with Jewish values and tradition.
The position will be joining the Development Team. This team has been working meticulously to raise funds to support all of BB Camp's programming and agency goals. It is an exciting time at BB Camp, as we are continuing to grow while we move into our second century, and this position is an excellent opportunity to be part of that success.
