Principal Responsibilities:

The Roth Family JCC is looking for a Pickleball pro who can elevate our program to the next level. This temporary part-time position consists of teaching and encouraging those who want to learn the pickleball game. Once a week you will be teaching preschool and youth age classes. These classes will run anytime between 1-5 pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

Sunday is 18+ running from 12-3 pm. From 12-1 pm will be an Instructional Play session. This will be Pickleball practice where you will teach according to skill level. From 1-3 will be gameplay, where players can test their skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

June - July 30. One-week day and Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Pickelball instructor
• Teach young kids the basics of pickleball
• Design and enact programs for clients that are safe, professional, and comprehensive to all, encouraging further learning
• Teach dynamic pickleball lessons to individuals or groups based on need
• Ensure health and safety is at the utmost importance on and off the courts

Position Requirements:

• Preferable Certifications - International Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR)
• Prior experience instructing or playing Pickleball
• Thorough knowledge of the game
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to perform all movements and activities assigned to the clients
• CPR and AED certified within 30 days of hire
• Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, with a positive attitude
• Must be able to coach a variety of skill levels

Salary:

Under $25,000
