We are seeking a leader with good organizational, fundraising, programming and people development skills, to help us achieve our mission: "to aid Jews in the Augusta area, in Israel, in the country, and the rest of the world; and to develop and strengthen Jewish identity, foster Jewish values, and enrich our greater community.
A BA or BS degree from an accredited University or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
An energetic leader is being sought for the Jewish Community Center and Federation of Augusta. This organization is the result of the consolidation of the Augusta Jewish Federation, a classic philanthropic entity, and the Augusta Jewish Community Center, a cultural and social entity. The two Jewish communal organizations have a 100-year history of serving our area. The consolidated entity was created to better serve our current needs.
Augusta, the second largest city in Georgia, located on the Savannah River, is an attractive place to live and work, with an active and diverse Jewish life, educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities, and low cost of living and housing compared to large metropolitan areas.
