Principal Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented Content Strategist to join our team and help us flex our narrative muscles. The marketing team works closely with other departments to execute a three-prong marketing plan that includes inbound marketing strategy, community engagement, and traditional promotion. Our purpose is to be champions for holistic wellness and to create authentic community. We are genuine, inclusive, generous, optimistic, cohesive, and collaborative.

Our Content Strategist Will:
- Own the organization's inbound marketing and content creation
- Ideate and create content project plans, guided by the marketing strategy set forth by the marketing director.
- Create engaging multimedia deliverables that fulfill departmental goals
- Manage editorial calendar that includes social media, email marketing tactics, web updates, and digital marketing campaigns
- Capture and edit photo/video and distribute through appropriate channels (may require occasional evening and weekend hours)
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Has a college degree in a related field (marketing, communications, film, etc.) and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Is experienced in content strategy and proficient in writing, photography, and project management
- Is an expert in content creation and publishing across multiple channels including web, print, and social
- Is a highly-motivated, passionate self-starter able to develop project plans, coordinate projects, communicate changes and progress, and work to deadline
- Is able to analyze, identify, and work towards shaping the future for themselves and others
- Has some experience with basic graphic design, Facebook and Google Ad platforms, WordPress; Video editing, SEO, and web design/development skills a plus.
- Is willing to work some nights and weekends as needed in order to capture photo/video
- Sets and achieves challenging goals, demonstrates persistence, reacts well under pressure, and knows when to take risks
- Can comfortably speak in a group setting, responds well to questions, has a collaborative attitude, and follows through on commitments
- Will assume the role of content expert and become an authority for other members of staff to look to

Salary:
$35,000 - $45,000
