The Adult Engagement Program Manager is a new role that will maintain and grow existing programs for adults in our community. In addition to managing the Hot Buttons, Cool Conversations Series, this role will also oversee the South Area Seniors Manager and JCC art classes at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC. Most exciting though is for you to combine your passion for high-quality programs and an entrepreneurial spirit to create new ways and platforms at JCC Greater Boston for adults to nurture their mind, body and spirit both in-person (depending on safety protocols) and virtually.
Working closely with JCC leadership, health and wellness staff, marketing, volunteers, and external funders, you will be at the center of leading this new initiative. A key responsibility will be to convene JCC staff and volunteers to build a vision for expanding adult engagement for today's times.
This position will interact with other programming departments to identify needs, leverage resources, and create a work plan that reflects community needs and input from various stakeholders. It may also entail partnering with other local and national Jewish and secular organizations to bring our programming to a larger audience and to expose our community to high profile national presenters.
This is a 25 hour/week position that may be done remotely with in-person time required for meetings and program implementation. Position reports to the AVP for Family Engagement & Jewish Life. He/she/they will frequently work with Chief Strategic Program offices and other JCC leadership.

JCC Greater Boston is a nonprofit organization with roots in earlier Settlement Houses and Young Men's Hebrew Associations; JCC Greater Boston today offers a wide range of services and program activities throughout the Greater Boston region (~50,000 individuals annually in 98 communities). The organization provides a variety of programs and services to children and adults in the Greater Boston Jewish community including: four preschools, three day camps, a regional model of Jewish family engagement, a fully equipped fitness and aquatic center, arts and culture classes, performances, lectures, and Jewish holiday celebrations.
