Principal Responsibilities:
Position Overview
The Marketing & Creative Content Specialist serves as the primary content producer for the Osher Marin JCC, responsible for the video, design, and written work that supports marketing across all six program areas, as well as the day-to-day management of the organization's social media presence and online reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content
- Produce short-form vertical video and photography content end-to-end (capture, edit, caption, publish), building an evergreen asset library across all six program areas
- Manage the content calendar and publishing schedule across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including Facebook events and community group posting
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, tags, and online reviews (Google, Yelp); encourage member reviews
- Report monthly on performance with clear, actionable recommendations
Graphic Design -- Print & Digital
- Design print collateral: flyers, brochures, postcards, posters, program guides, event materials, and signage
- Design digital assets: display advertising, social graphics, email headers, web banners, and landing page visuals
- Maintain and apply brand standards consistently across departments and outside vendors
- Translate requests from program directors into finished, production-ready files on deadline
Copywriting
- Write blog posts, press releases, web page copy, and program descriptions
- Write newsletter copy, email subject lines, advertising copy, social captions, headlines, and signage text
- Adapt tone and voice across audiences ranging from preschool families to older adult members
- Proofread and edit content produced across the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
- 3-4 years of professional marketing experience with direct ownership of social media content and graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud -- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro -- and in Canva
- Proficiency with video editing tools for short-form social content: CapCut, Premiere Pro, or a comparable editor
- Demonstrated experience with a social media scheduling and management platform (Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar)
- Strong writing and editing ability across formats, from long-form blog content to short-form captions and signage
- Working photography and videography skills, with comfort capturing content in active program environments -- indoor gyms, pool decks, and outdoor camp settings
- Experience managing social accounts day to day, including community engagement, comments, and direct messages
- Strong organizational skills and proven follow-through across multiple concurrent deadlines
- Portfolio required, including design, writing, and video samples
Preferred
- Experience marketing membership, recreation, education, camp, or hospitality programs
- Experience with online review management (Google Business Profile, Yelp)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Constant Contact)
- Working knowledge of paid social or Google Ads
- Basic website and CMS experience
- Familiarity with Jewish holidays, traditions, and communal life, or genuine interest in learning them
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000-$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience

- 22 vacation days, 13 sick days, and approximately 15 national and Jewish holidays annually
