We are looking for an ESL instructor who can work in our program with Older Adults looking to learn English as a second language or Spanish as a second language.
The successful candidate will use a variety of students-centered teaching techniques and methodologies as well as technology to ensure that all students develop greater skills. The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively with culturally and intellectually diverse students and create an engaging learning environment for students.
The candidate should have a solid knowledge of current ESL pedagogy and is able to create an interactive classroom environment that offers multiple opportunities for active learning to the students. We are looking for a motivated and self-reflective instructor, seeking to provide the highest quality language instruction.
Position: ESL Instructor for Older Adults
Essential Functions:
Rate of Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: 1 to 2 hours per week
