This new full-time position is designed to assist the Associate Executive Director in leading the JCC Sara Walker Nursery School community. The Associate Director will partner with the JCC Sara Walker Nursery School and Vogel Family Center for Early Learning administrative teams in interactions with teaching staff, parents and children; enhance the curriculum and environment of the program; develop and implement birth - 5 year old enrichment programs to complement SWNS curriculum and services; Promote the Stamford JCC internally and to the larger community; and contribute meaningfully as a member of the JCC Professional team.
Direct Responsibilities as assigned by The Associate Executive Director and include, but are not limited to:
Degree in Education required, Masters Degree preferred
Strong experience marketing a school and building enrollment in a competitive environment
A driven, passionate, hard worker with infectious high energy who leads by example
A desire to make the JCC Sara Walker Nursery School the early learning program of choice for the community. Someone who seeks continuous improvement and is never satisfied to rest on laurels
Skilled at motivating, supporting, evaluating, hiring, and holding accountable faculty and staff
