Afternoon teachers are responsible for monitoring children's indoor and outdoor activities and responding to children's needs in a positive and courteous manner. More specifically, the person will be expected to supervise and manage a group of children between the ages of 13 months and 5 years old, participate in small group activities, and support other teachers. Maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the classroom while following all school procedures and regulations.
Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM and Friday, 2:00 - 5:00 PM with opportunities to substitute for the full day.

Frequently requires ascending or descending stairs; ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, twist; remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; communicating with others to exchange information. Often requires repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Salary Range: $15/hour - $18/hour
