To be nurse for the camp; supervise health and cleanliness standards; work with camp director and staff; and help provide adequate physical health conditions for all.This camp is an outdoor facility.
- Knowledge and Education - Minimum Required: Ohio nursing license, current CPR and First Aid certifications, and a valid driver's license
- Experience - Minimum Required or Preferred: Experience with children and young adults is desirable.
- Special Skills: Able to observe and identify environmental hazards, unsanitary or unhealthy conditions, and other risks related to camp activities or the conditions of the camp. Able to communicate and work with individuals and groups of all ages, including campers, staff, and parents.Able to observe camper and staff behavior, assess its appropriateness, and enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures.Able to lift or assist campers and/or staff, up to 40 lbs.Able to read and understand prescriptions and health care forms from physicians.Able to travel to all camp sites and locations of the campgrounds quickly and appropriately.Has desire to work in a camp environment.
