We are currently seeking a Director of JFS to join Greater Santa Barbara and Ventura County Jewish Family Service counseling team. This full time position is responsible for leading a team of clinical service providers of mental health counseling to clients of all ages. This position will serve members of the Jewish community of Greater Santa Barbara, Ventura County and members of the communities at large. JFS is committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion and connectedness. Recipients of services are people impacted by poverty, trauma, and mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety. This position oversees the clinical team of general mental health counselors.
This position will be responsible for direct supervision of JFS's clinical professional team in two locations, oversight of case management, the coordination of the intake and billing processes.
Duties include but are not limited to oversight of the intake process and referral assignment, oversight of all aspects of care management activities, orientation, and onboarding of new care management staff, ongoing clinical supervision, review of progress notes, assessments, care plan and other required CDA documentation in the Electronic Health Record system and managing third-party billing service activity.

The JFS is are part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara. The position reports partially to the Jewish Federation of Ventura County.
