Principal Responsibilities:

Directs and coordinates the agency's registration and membership activities in the absence of full-time Registration and Membership Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
 Effectively communicate program information to potential participants and existing members to increase enrollment;
 Serve as the face of the Y and the first point of contact for visitors and member participants;
 Connect members to the Y and its mission by means of helping them pro-actively identify the best possible offerings to help them meet their fitness, program and family goals;
 Work closely with program staff in terms of program enrollment, rosters, other supporting lists and deadlines;
 Ensure appropriate administrative systems are in place to track registrations for various programs;
 Enroll program participant sessions in membership database software while ensuring all data is entered accurately;
 Maintain and reconcile membership database for each program;
 Administer approved payment plans and fee adjustments;
 Provide accurate programmatic, membership and program information to Accounting and programs;
 Maintain all pertinent registration and supporting documents such as medical forms, registration agreements, enrollment forms and all other related paperwork;
 Distribute member statements of program enrollments and fees paid;
 Follow-up phone calls to address outstanding payments;
 Support front reception desk when phone calls and guest inquiries are high;
 Coordinate with Registration and Membership Coordinator;
 Commitment to the mission and goals of the agency.
