Principal Responsibilities:

The Westside JCC Family and Children's Programs Department is responsible for programming that connects children and their families to Judaism, the greater Los Angeles Jewish community and Westside JCC. Our JCamp program currently offers ten weeks of summer day camp, three weeks of winter break camp, as well as other short term school break programs. The department's JExplorer program attracts families seeking an innovative alternative to traditional Jewish education offerings. Under the JCelebrates banner the department coordinates a wide array of family programs that seek to engage young families in Jewish life, while building a vibrant and connected JCC community.

The Assistant Director of Family and Children's Programs will report to the Director of Family and Children's Programs. This is a full-time exempt position with a generous benefit package. The position includes regular weekend and occasional evening work. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, and have experience working with preschool and elementary age children, and their families.
