All members of the JCC staff are a part of a team whose goal is the delivery of the finest services the JCC can provide to the Jewish community. To this end, all members of the staff are expected to contribute their expertise and skills in any areas in which they may be called upon. Staff are also expected to share their knowledge with others for the benefit of all.

Principal Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, this position develops and implements membership recruitment and retention programs/strategies, analyzes and reports on the outcomes of membership marketing efforts and on current membership statistics to senior management, directs the social media strategy of the entire JCC with the Marketing Director, and proposes changes as appropriate. The Membership & Social Media Director should have excellent people skills, exemplary oral and written communication skills and be well organized. Attention to detail, strong computer abilities and demonstration of proven sales experience are necessary. Knowledge of office suite, Microsoft office, and adobe creative suite is expected.

The Membership & Social Media Director is a team player well versed in customer service and great listening skills with members as well as staff. Also assists families who relocate to the community.

Recruitment and Retention of JCC Members

Lay Committee Work - develop, maintain, improve, and evaluate the membership department

Work closely with all department heads

Agency social media roles
