Principal Responsibilities:

The Kids Club Attendant position focuses on childcare for children between the ages of 6 months up to 8 years of age while parents are at the JCC.The purpose of this position is to provide the children with interactive games, arts and crafts, etc., while keeping them safe in a secured environment.

  13. Address members' concerns, suggestions, and complaints in a timely, professional, and consistent manner.
  14. Ensure equipment is in good working order. If equipment is in need of service, follow established procedures to either fix equipment or notify the appropriate responsible parties.
  15. Attend regularly scheduled meetings for department.
  16. Shift duties.
  17. Work with JCCOC team to market and promote all training at the J.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned
  • work environmen: Kids Club is a place that was designed for kids.There may be many times when you will be getting up and down off of the floor.The chairs are low and at a low table designed for kids.'The toys and play surfaces will be disinfected daily.
  • physical demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be on their feet and/or moving for the majority of the shift.This requires the employee to be able to lift a maximum of 35lbs. The employee will also have frequent interactions with cleaning products including but not limited to surface wipes and disinfectant spray.

Minimum Qualifications:


  1. CPR/AED Certification
  2. First Aid Certification
  3. Minimum one year Child Care experience/Customer Service
  4. Basic understanding of child development
  5. Mature, reliable individual
  6. Good work ethic
  7. Reliable transportation.
  8. Must be able to lift 11-35lbs.
  9. Prefer long-term commitment.
  10. Strong customer service skills including an outgoing personality; a friendly disposition, self-confidence, and maturity. Should be an approachable role model.
  11. The ability to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, holidays, etc).
  12. The ability to maintain a healthy and neat appearance. (Black bottom and staff shirt with name tag and staff badge.)
  13. 2 years experience working with children
